Three months after leaving Egypt, Moses and the Israelites arrived at Mount Sinai. It had been a tough year for Moses: repeatedly challenging Pharaoh; keeping Israel’s eyes on God through the ten plagues; leading them out of Egypt; journeying through the desert. It would have been so easy for him to have said, “God, I’m 80 now and these have been a tough few months – I’m ready for a break now!’

But he didn’t. He kept pursuing God. In. fact, in the chapters that follow we find him climbing Mt Sinai to meet with God at least 7 times. So what was it that helped him keep climbing? In this final talk of our series ‘Junctions on the Journey’, Mike Beaumont shares three things that kept Moses from settling.
