The Message Mission week

We are really excited to be welcoming a team from The Message Academy (their year out project) to Teesside this week.

From Thursday 10th June until Sunday 13th, Jacob, Emily, Ben and Salome who are studying with The Message this year, will be coming to serve us at TVC Church though our work at The Shack, Community Grocery, Shaftsbury Street as well as spending time with our youth groups at The Shack and The Oakwood Centre. From clearing gardens to giving testimonies, it is amazing to have these 4 young people to come and join us in sharing the gospel across Stockton.

On Sunday 13th, they will be helping to run the first of our Sunday services at The Shack, for the local community in Ragworth. This will be the first service we have been able to hold there in over a year. As much as we would love to invite you all over to join the service there – The Shack is only big enough for 50 people at a push and with social distancing in place, we can only have a very small congregation there at the moment, so the majority of us will meet at The Oakwood Centre on that day and we will look forward to a time when more of us can gather at The Shack and support the spread of the gospel in Ragworth.

Into the Prophetic…

Would you like to understand what the Bible says about the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, especially prophecy?

Not sure if you hear from God and would like to prophesy for the first time?

Would you like to live a more supernaturally-charged Christian life, expecting God to speak through you, directly into lives and situations?

Join us for a morning of training and discovery, over Zoom on Saturday 19th June with Warren and Claire Harrison and team.

Claire says: “Hearing from God is meant to be a normal activity for God’s people, so that we can strengthen and encourage each other. This day will give you a solid Biblical foundation for moving in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and enable you to recognise God’s voice, using teaching, ministry and practical exercises in a fun and encouraging atmosphere.”

Beginners and those who need a refresher are all welcome!

To book a place, please register here and we will be in touch with the zoom code.

So come and join us. It will be so good to be together again as TVC Church family.

School of Applied Theology

School of Applied Thelogy is back this September!

For all you Students who are part way though your studies – you do need to register again for September, especially if you are already fully paid up!

If you have never tried SAT before, do really think about it. There are 5 study days each year, which is a small but incredibly strong investment into knowing and understanding the Bible.

Pete says: “I have never seen myself as being particularly academic or interested in Theology but I really saw a need to look deeper into the Bible teachings. School of Theology was brilliant – I now read the Bible in a completely different way and I feel like I understand it on a different level”.

Booking opens on Tuesday 1st June.

Meet our Youth Team!

At TVC Church, we love that we are a multi-generational Church!

Our teenagers have a team of passionate and sometimes downright silly leaders, who meet with them throughout the week to support them in all aspects of their lives.

For those of us who are not teenagers any more (much to our dismay), TVC Church Youth can seem a bit of a mystery, so we have asked our amazing Youth Team to introduce yourselves to them in their own unique way.

To find out more about what is going on for the Youth at TVC Church or to ask about how you can get involved in serving our awesome young people, get in touch with Christa.
