Come and join us!
We have been worshipping back together for 3 weeks now and it is so good to be back together!
Here is what our congregation have said:
“It is awesome to be in a room with people who are wanting to connect with God alongside you. That shared experience is as special as it always was.”
“I loved just worshipping together again. It’s not just about the singing is it, it’s about your heart and expressing something of our thankfulness to God as a Church family”.
This Sunday, we begin our new series ‘Junctions on the Journey’.
Each of us is on a journey with God. Throughout the journey, we will inevitably come up against decision points. This practical teaching series will help us to see these ‘junctions’ and to make decisions about the way that we should go.
Pete Glasby will be leading us in worship this week and Martin Dunkley will be bringing the message ‘Fearing People or Obeying God’.
If you are joining us in the congregation, please read through your confirmation email so that you are all set for a speedy entrance.
In preparation for Sunday, we would love it if you could find 30 mins this week to listen to this podcast from Mike Beaumont, which provides the background to the amazing book of Exodus – which will form the basis for ‘Junctions on the Journey’ teaching series.
Listen while you are driving, while you are ironing, in the bath or having a dig in the garden – whatever you are up to, stick it on and get the most out of this teaching series!
Let’s Pray for our Kids
Ladies – join us this Sunday evening for an hour of bringing our children before their Father God, in prayer.
Whether you are a Mum, Grandma, Auntie, Sister or youth worker, we would love you to join with us on Sunday 25th April at 8pm to pray for our Children and for their spiritual walk and physical protection.
Men – we are planning a date for you guys to meet so watch this space!
The Bible Course
There are still some spaces available for The Bible Course which starts next week! There was a problem with the booking system last week, for which we apologise – so if you found you couldn’t sign up last week, do give it another try!
The Bible Course is great for anybody who wants to delve deeper into the Bible. t shows how the key books, famous characters and epic events form one BIG story, from Genesis to Revelation. The course also provides tools and skills that help apply the Bible to everyday life.
Are you relatively new to TVC Church?
We would love to get to know you and to help you discover more about what we believe at TVC Church, what it means to Belong and where we believe God is taking us as a Church family.
Our next Belong group begins on Wednesday 5th May.
An Exciting Development!
We are always looking for God to lead us in his next move for the Tees Valley and for his plan for us as a Church family. We are always ready to re-group and re-think. For many years now we have had a lovely Church cafe that has been faithfully run by staff and volunteers. Over the past 18 months, God has been shaping a re-focus for the cafe and we are, of course, ready to run with his plans for reaching out to those around us.
Taking Ground Music
We are very excited to have the opportunity to share the music that God has given us with the world!
We have two songs featured in the UK Christian Chart at the moment – ‘Forget Not’ and ‘You (Psalm 73)’.
The UK Christian Chart is built on a voting system, and we would love your support! The more people who vote, the wider the reach.
If you want to vote for either song, go to https://astepfwd.com/contemporary-worship-may-chart-2021/
Giving to TVC Church
