Our Community Grocers Needs You!
As more and more of us are having the opportunity to receive the vaccine, now is maybe the time to think about finally being able to leave the house and to get involved in what God is doing amongst our communities!
Our new Community Grocery unit is now in place down at ‘The Shack’ in Ragworth, Stockton and this week the shop fitters will arrive to transform it. So what is really needed next? Well according to Andy Malbon and Paul Connor, our Community Grocery managers, We need volunteers who would be ready to start working for our Community Grocers when we open in March.
If you would have a few hours to give each week to volunteer down at the Grocery, to meet people and bring hope to them, then please get in touch with Andy Malbon to see how you could be part of this amazing new team – changing lives in Stockton.
We also need your prayers! This is a brand new venture for Andy and Paul and they needs God’s peace and wisdom as they work to get everything in place. You could also be praying that the practicalities of fitting out the grocery and stocking it go smoothly.
TVC Church Bedtime Bible stories begin tonight!
One of the things that we would really love to gift to our children is a love of the word of God. This can come in many forms, but over the coming weeks, it may just come in the form of TVC Church Bedtime Bible stories.
Parents, make sure you are part of the Illuminate Facebook group to view the stories.
If you are not able to be part of the group, but would like to hear the stories, sign up here to receive your story link.
Join us for a cuppa next Thursday (25th February) at 11am.
Summer holidays might seem a million miles away right now but we are longing for sunnier days and being together aren’t we? So with all that in mind, we have dreamt up the next best thing – a fun packed, holiday themed, social gathering for anybody who finds themselves available at 11am on a Thursday Morning!
So grab a cuppa and go on – a cake too and log on to our TVC Church Coffee Morning. Everybody is welcome!
We will email out the zoom code the day before to all who are in our church address book. If you are not sure if that is you, follow this link to sign up to receive your zoom code.
Let’s Pray for Our Kids
On Sunday 28th February at 8pm we have carved out some time and space for the guys to get together to pray over our children.
This is a great chance for the Dad’s, Grandads, Uncles, Brothers, Spiritual Dad’s and anyone who has a heart to see children reached with God’s love, to get together as men, share stories and bring our children before the Lord.
Are you new to TVC Church?

How can we grow and help others to grow?
This practical workshop will be an applied look at what it means to be a faith friend and have a faith friend, who can help you grow in God. It will be full of examples, practical advice and guidance.
This is for anyone who wants to grow in their faith and see others grow, no matter how long you have been a Christain.
Join us Tuesday 9th March 7.30pm via Zoom. We will send out the Zoom code to those in our address book the week before – if you are not in the address book, then click here to sign up for your Zoom code!
How are our Youth doing?
At TVC Church we have a thriving Youth ministry even in the midst of Lockdown.
Our wonderful Youth team, led by Joe Winterschladen and Christa Beriswell, regularly meet up with our teenagers online, to support them, encourage them and to share the Bible with them.
So what’s on?
- ‘JMG’s’ (school years 7-9) meet online each Friday.
- YETTI’s (school years 10-13) meet online each Sunday.
- We are blessed with so many year 10 girls that they meet separately every other week with their female leaders.
We want to thank God that he has answered prayer and has brought forward more Youth Leaders in the last few months!
We also praise God that he has added to our Youth group this year and that many teenagers have found a home with our youth – even though they have never met face to face. One young person even found us through online Church streaming!
This is a tough time for our teenagers and we would love you to stand with them in prayer for each of them as they try to maintain vital social lives in the midst of lockdown, as they spend extra time at home with their families and as they face prolonged disruption to their studies. Pray also that they would each develop a passionate relationship with God during their formative years.
